Terms & Conditions

These terms form the agreement between you and Ozwa one (trading as OZWA ONE, “we”, “us”), the provider of the OZWA ONE security workforce management platform. Please read them together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Notice.

1. Who you are contracting with

The service is provided by Ozwa one. When you create an account, subscribe, or otherwise use OZWA ONE, you are entering into an agreement with Ozwa one.

If you accept these terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you use OZWA ONE as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use OZWA ONE, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the updated version.

3. What the service is

OZWA ONE is cloud software for security companies: employee and guard records, rostering and daily posting, attendance, timesheets, leave, incidents, site inspections, invoicing, payroll support and reporting. Features available to you depend on the subscription plan you select.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use OZWA ONE within your selected plan for your own business purposes.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, including activity by users you invite and roles you assign.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of data protection law;
  • commit fraud, send spam, or upload malicious or misleading content;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing without permission, scraping, or circumventing technical or plan limits;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.

6. Your data and content

You keep ownership of the data you upload (employee records, site data, incidents and similar). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide and support the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to upload personal information about your employees and clients.

7. Our intellectual property

Ozwa one retains all rights in the OZWA ONE software, its documentation, design and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

8. Payment and subscription terms

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in South African Rand, per the plan shown on our pricing page, and renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are therefore governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, together with our Refund Policy.

9. Service level

We work hard to keep OZWA ONE available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our control may affect availability.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where there is:

  • a material breach of these terms;
  • non-payment of subscription fees;
  • a security or fraud risk to us, you, or other customers;
  • repeated or serious violations of the acceptable use rules above.

When your subscription ends, you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted in line with our Privacy Notice.

11. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. OZWA ONE supports your payroll and compliance processes but does not replace your own verification, professional advice, or statutory obligations.

Our aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over disputes. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
